Sid King and his Argus
Known as the UC-61 Forwarder by the United States Army Air Force,about 670 of these aircraft served with the RAF and the ATA ferry organisation, under the name Argus.
Andrew and his Mew Gull
Mew Gull G-AEXF, on which Andrew’s is modelled has had a very chequered career after winning the King’s Cup Race in 1938. In October 2013, in its 77th year, it was sold to the Shuttleworth Collection, at Old Warden,where it remains flying as part of the museum.
